SCSO seeking publics help finding two stolen campers | North Idaho News

Shoshone County Deputies are seeking the public's help in a grand theft case that occurred last week.

On Feb. 18 at approximately 2:14 pm, the sheriff's department received a report of two campers that were allegedly stolen from the S&S Storage lot in Smelterville.

A 2003 Sierra Forest River and a new Keystone Hideout were allegedly taken sometime during the day.

The co-owner of the Sierra Forest River told the Shoshone News-Press that the alleged burglar grinded the lock off the front gate. Police found a recovered cell phone and receipt at the scene that may belong to the suspect(s), according to the press.

S&S is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the discovery of the campers.

The sheriff's department is asking anyone with information to contact Deputy Ferraro at (208) 556-1114.
