A Coeur d’Alene man, who plead guilty to having sexual contact with two minors, was sentenced Tuesday to a rider program.
19-year-old Kyle A. Williams will spend up to a year in a prison treatment program and then Judge Scott Wayman will decide whether or not to place him on probation or send him back to prison. This is all part of his two years fixed and eight years indeterminate sentencing.
In March of 2020, two girls, ages 13 and 14, allegedly met up with Williams, who was 18 at the time, for sex. He drove the girls around before allegedly touching the 14-year-old inappropriately.
She told police that she felt uncomfortable and asked Williams to take her home. The 13-year-old reportedly remained in the car after dropping the 14-year-old off.
The two allegedly had sexual contact in the car at a nearby Post Falls park.
The state requested retained jurisdiction in this case because officials say Williams thinks at the level of about a 14-year-old.
